Prices

Every effort will be made to hold prices for the duration of this catalogue. Fluctuations may occur but in this event customers will be informed prior to despatch. Prices are strictly net. All prices are valid until December 31st 2010.

Carriage and Packing

Is free of charge on orders over £80. Orders under £80 will carry a surcharge of £6.95.

Made to Order Items

Please note that several of our large furniture items are made to order and you should allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery. These will be shipped and invoiced separately.

Receipt of Goods

Incorrect or damaged goods must be reported to Asco within 3 days ofreceipt of goods for claims to be considered. All claims for missing goods must be made within 14 days of the invoice date. Please do not return any goods without first contacting our Customer Service Department for instructions.

Delivery

Asco accepts no liability for loss, damages or expenses arising from late delivery of goods due to any cause whatsoever. Asco will seek to achieve delivery dates as far as it is within its power to do so but any delivery date or time should be treated as an estimate only and not relied upon.

Cancellation of Orders

Where the buyer wishes to cancel an order this cancellation must be made within 24 hours of the date of order. After this time Asco reserves the right to pass on any charges that may be incurred due to customer error in ordering.

Payment Terms

Payment is due within 30 days of invoice. It is important that the invoices are passed to the paying authority without delay. Cheques should be made payable to ASCO EDUCATIONAL SUPPLIES LTD.

Title to the Goods

Title does not pass to the purchaser until the invoice is paid in full.

Value Added Tax

All prices in this catalogue are shown exclusive of VAT, which will be added to your invoice on all applicable items. LEA schools are reminded that the whole of this tax can be reclaimed by your Education Authority.

Out of Stock Items

are placed on back order and are despatched and invoiced separately when available. Payment of the main invoice should not be delayed whilst awaiting back order items.

Furniture and Large Items

The price quoted for these items is for delivery to the ground floor. Should you have a particular delivery requirement please enquire before placing your order. An additional charge may be levied by “Direct” suppliers for deliveries within a specific time frame.

Returns

Any goods deemed unsuitable must be returned in a condition suitable for re-sale. Products must be returned in suitable packaging. Asco reserves the right to charge for goods returned in an unsaleable condition. If in doubt please phone 0113 2707070.

The company is continually seeking to improve the quality and value of its goods and services. Whilst we take every care to ensure illustrations and descriptions within the catalogue are accurate and informative, we do reserve the right to change specifi cations or improve our products. In the event of any substituted product not being acceptable, we will gladly issue a full credit, provided the goods in question are returned within seven days and in an as new, re-saleable condition.
